A hodgepodge of photos, concerts, trips, music and some geeky stuff when I can’t help it.

Site Information

without comments

This page was designed to be standard compliant, It heavily use CSS for the rendering. No Javascript/flash/(insert trendy buzzword here)/ is used, but even so, only gecko based (mozilla, firebird, galeon for example) or khtml (konqueror, safari) browsers render this site correctly. Check the Gallery below to check how it should display.

I also took special care on how well it displayed on text mode browsers, so screen reader should have no problems with it.

Despite of my limited design abilities and graphic knowledge, I made quite a few themes for this site, mainly just for the sake of it and also to train myself in this area where I wasn't very comfortable.

default theme simple theme
Default: The default theme, dubbed "smoke and mirrors" as the transparency is just a clever hack, this screenshot obviously doesn't show the transparency effect you get when scrolling, The "Demenzia.net" typeface was done by fab31, the background is a photo I took in Paris and the face is mine, taken with a crappy IBM web cam (yes the scary face as I saw it referred as). Simple: A simple theme, with a clean design, less graphics, and simple css
noir theme artnouveau theme
Noir: A 50-era noir novel theme Art Nouveau: Inspired by the art nouveau movement (end of 19th century - early 20th) and especially the Paris metro station's header designed by Hector Guimard. The photo is the Eiffel tower taken during the universal exposition, and I draw the title from scratch with the Gimp, but alas, I lost the xcf file so the version used here is incomplete.
gvu theme light theme
Gcu: A quick and dirty css emulating the Gcu-squad site (created by iMil) Light: The first alternative theme I made for this site, and also the theme I remade the most times
classic theme earth theme
Classic: Emulates the old design of this site Earth: A green theme, from a photo of where I used to live in Austin
urban theme
Urban: Trendy
