At the end of 2006, I started working freelance for Cloziz, a web2.0 social networking site. I developed it from scratch using Symfony a Php framework. I can heartily recommend it, from the beginning of development to the first online version there was less that two weeks.
I then took a job at a financial company ( that shall remain unnamed ), it didn't work out and I left after five months.
I'm now working at Splitgames where, as a project manager, I expect to add a lot of exciting features to this video games exchange community site.
This is also a symfony-based website, the only issue we have at the present are the difficulties to find available developers.
